In the film’s climax, Daddu Thakur discovers that his lover Jhulan has been forced into an arranged marriage. Determined to rescue her, he confronts the student‑politician Loha Singh, only to learn that Loha has been using the protest around the Mandal Commission to cement his own political ambitions. Loha’s plan is ruthless: he intends to sacrifice Daddu—by framing him as unsuitable for the student delegation because of Jhulan’s “backward‑caste” background—and then have him eliminated during the final rally, while also ordering Jhulan’s death to avoid any loose ends.

When Daddu finally reaches the protest, the betrayal erupts into violence. Ranjan, Daddu’s closest friend and the only voice warning him about Loha, tries to intervene as Loha’s brother Gopal moves to strike the leader. Ranjan throws a barrel of flammable liquid in a desperate attempt to stop the attack, but the barrel spills, setting Gopal ablaze. Ranjan is engulfed in the flames and dies in front of a helpless Daddu, his sacrifice underscoring the cost of the political game.

Shaken and filled with fury, Daddu storms Loha’s house. He confronts Loha and Gopal, and in a brief but brutal showdown he kills them both, ending their scheming for good. The next scene finds Daddu waking in a hospital, bandaged and bruised, with Jhulan by his side. She urges him not to let Ranjan’s death be in vain—to carry the protest forward and represent the students in the delegation that the Prime Minister will meet.

Heeding her words, Daddu travels to Delhi, where he takes his place among the fifty‑student delegation, delivering the very message Ranjan had wanted to hear: a call for justice grounded in logic rather than partisan violence. The film closes on Daddu’s resolve to continue the fight, now fully aware of the personal and political sacrifices required to change the system.
