Hot Seat

At the climax of “Hot Seat,” it is revealed that Enzo, the hacker manipulating Orlando from the beginning, is actually the one behind it all. Enzo’s motives seem to be connected to a desire for revenge or control over powerful financial figures, although his exact reasons are somewhat vague. He holds Orlando’s wife and daughter hostage on the building’s terrace, aiming to execute his plan. Despite being wounded in the struggle, Enzo manages to activate a bomb strapped to Zoey. As Orlando and Kim desperately try to disarm it, Wallace, the bomb disposal expert, distracts Enzo and manages to cut the main wire just in time. Enzo dies from his injuries, and the bomb is defused, sparing Orlando’s family. Orlando, Kim, and Zoey survive and return home safely, but the ending leaves little surprise as it is quite predictable. The story concludes with a resolution that ties up the loose ends but lacks the tension and depth that could have made it more gripping. Overall, the film’s predictable nature and straightforward conclusion diminish its impact, making “Hot Seat” more of an easy-watch thriller that doesn’t leave a lasting impression.
