Jimmy Durante plays Schnarzan the Conqueror, a jungle‑film star whose audience has grown weary of his staged lion scenes. Baron Munchausen arrives with a pride of real man‑eating lions, prompting Durante to stage an extravagant Hollywood party hoping to feature the beasts in his next picture. Meanwhile, a rival filmmaker infiltrates the celebration with plans to purchase the lions before Durante can use them.
