During the Battle of Okinawa in World War II, a group of high school students became nurses, known as the Himeyuri unit. This short film portrays their experiences during the intense conflict, many of whom tragically lost their lives. Produced by the Himeyuri Alumnae Incorporated Foundation, the film aims to share the story of these young women and convey their wartime experiences to a new generation, particularly children. It seeks to preserve their memory and promote peace.
