Heimlich explores the lives of three individuals yearning for connection and belonging. Paris resides in a stark and impersonal environment, while Serena dreams of finding a home far removed from the city. They find solace in shared drinks and conversations, their lives gradually intertwining. The narrative delves into themes of memory, identity, and the search for comfort, blending elements of water, beer, and reminiscence. A frog’s sudden appearance adds to the film’s surreal and unsettling atmosphere, questioning the very notion of home.
