After the chaotic events of the first film, the Finnish extreme metal band Impaled Rektum finds themselves behind bars in a Norwegian prison. The band members consist of singer Turo, guitarist Lotvonen, bassist Xytrax, and drummer Oula, who are all struggling with their circumstances.

Music producer Maxwell Efraim Fisto visits the imprisoned band and presents them with a tempting offer. He proposes a performance slot at the prestigious Wacken Open Air festival along with a financial incentive of €50,000, igniting the band's interest despite Xytrax's immediate rejection of the proposal.

Back in Finland, Lotvonen’s father, Pekka, is devastated when he learns he must invest €30,000 to save the family's slaughterhouse. This shocking news triggers a heart attack, compelling the band to break out of prison to save their friend's family business.

In an audacious escape, the band successfully breaks free from their cells and makes their way back home. They quickly contact Fisto, only to find out that the Wacken slot is gone, leading to frustration and determination to prove themselves elsewhere.

The band manages to steal a car from security officer Dokken and drive to Helsinki. From there, they stow away on the tour bus of Bloodmotor, another band managed by Fisto, to reach their new destination: Vilnius.

Upon arriving in Vilnius, Fisto welcomes them and offers an opening slot in front of Bloodmotor, but with one catch: they must play cover songs. This directive creates tension within the band, particularly with Xytrax, highlighting their struggle for authenticity.

During Bloodmotor's performance, chaos erupts when their singer is pulled off stage by fans. Seizing the moment, Turo climbs on stage and finishes the song, impressing both the audience and Fisto, leading to a pivotal conversation about the band's future.

As the band prepares for Wacken, Fisto subjects them to an aesthetic makeover, rebranding Turo as 'Turo Starshine'. This move sparks discontent within the band, especially when Fisto alters their new single 'Prisoner of Flesh' into something they did not intend.

After discovering that Fisto has modified their song without their consent, Xytrax makes the tough decision to leave the band. His departure is met with tension, and soon he is apprehended by Dokken, compounding the band’s woes.

In desperation to reach Wacken after a series of setbacks, Turo, Lotvonen, and Oula resort to stealing a hearse. This reckless decision foreshadows growing conflicts within the band, particularly as Turo's ego starts to cause fissures.

As tensions peak, Oula quits the band after Turo belittles his contributions, leading to yet another arrest by Dokken. With their numbers dwindling, the remaining members arrive at Wacken, further exacerbating their predicament.

On the day of their performance, Turo learns that Lotvonen has been apprehended. Faced with an ultimatum from Fisto, Turo shockingly walks off stage, prioritizing his friend’s safety over personal ambition.

Following their chaotic arrival at Wacken, the band realizes they need to raise money. Inspired by Turo’s a cappella performance, they devise a plan to play a fundraiser gig, aiming to earn enough for Lotvonen’s father’s financial troubles.

As tensions escalate, Dokken attempts to shoot Turo, but Lotvonen heroically jumps in the way. Miraculously, the bullet doesn't cause significant harm, showcasing the band’s bond and the lengths they will go to protect each other.

In the aftermath, Impaled Rektum is once again incarcerated. However, in a surprising turn of events, they are permitted to perform metal shows in prison, which dramatically increases the prison population and highlights their enduring popularity.
