In an alternate timeline separate from the manga and animated series, the film retells the classic Cinderella story as an ’80s dance extravaganza. Tsukushi Makino, a trainee dancer in a New York performance group, strives to become the show’s star with help from fellow dancers Rui Hanazawa and Tsukasa Dōmyōji.
