A love story without love unfolds in a remote northern landscape of contemporary times. A solitary man yearns for connection yet can’t break free, while a woman feels alienated in a world that seems already decided without her. Both strive to fulfill prescribed roles, but they struggle to bond with each other, themselves and the society around them. The world feels drained of affection, moving mechanically through duty and bureaucracy, leaving an essential mystery and humanity missing.
