Fontaine Leglou, an anesthetist at a Paris mental hospital, feels convinced she’s being followed. After a brief misunderstanding with a stranger, she invites him for coffee. Though her life seems enviable—living with Nobel‑winning arctic scientist Michel—she’s distracted, often misreading people’s identities. When Michel proposes, she hesitates.
