When actress Lana Dark (Barbara Schock) vanishes midway through a costly shoot, the studio hires investigators Raymond Savage (Scott Paulin) and Jack Haines (Jim Haynie) to locate her. Their trail leads to Deadwood, South Dakota, where Haines and a smitten Savage find Lana hiding. Savage soon discovers her walk‑out is part of a larger scam, turning the case into a deadly game of deception.
