Ben, Edna and their baby are heading to California when their car breaks down. Ben goes to a junkyard for a spare part but lands in junkyard owner Harry’s trouble; the police have tied Harry to stolen auto parts and frame Ben as a scapegoat. When Ben doesn’t return, Edna searches for him and is chased by Harry’s dim‑witted henchman Blowhard.
