Cheng, a struggling radio employee who spends his shifts announcing daily food prices, is desperate for attention and dreams of fame. When he encounters the ghost of Fong Yan, he begins to tell her story on air. The haunting tale lifts Cheng to prominence, making him the star presenter of the nightly serial.
