When Tosiek finally embraces his true gender, the world around him begins to shift. At school his classmates tease him, but his friends step in, and even his father, initially skeptical, learns to see his son’s childhood photos of boy‑ish play and apologises, becoming an ally. A later confrontation in class—when the students rise against a teacher who refuses to acknowledge Tosiek as a man—acts as a symbolic affirmation of his new identity.

Leon, who had been Tosiek’s secret refuge, suddenly disappears during a tense encounter at Tosiek’s father’s house. Rather than standing up for him, Leon flees, leaving Tosiek feeling abandoned. The next day, a video of the two dancing together surfaces online, spurring slurs and rumors. It is Roksana who eventually confesses she uploaded the clip, driven by jealousy over Tosiek’s popularity.

Through a conversation with a gay peer’s father, Tosiek learns that Leon’s retreat was not cowardice but the result of deep trauma: his own parents had evicted him after discovering his sexuality, and he had recently been beaten for dancing with a man. Understanding this, Tosiek’s anger turns to compassion. Determined to make amends, he enlists the help of his friends and his father to trace Leon’s address from school records.

The film’s final moments follow Tosiek and his dad to the quiet street where Leon lives. Tosiek rushes toward him, and the two young men meet, exchange apologies, and embrace. Their reconciliation restores a sense of hope, suggesting that, despite the pain and prejudice they have endured, love and acceptance can still be found.
