Abhi, a junior artist in Hyderabad, dreams of becoming a Telugu cinema star. He meets Likitha, a powerful businesswoman, and they begin to fall for each other. He secures a job at Likitha's company, hoping it will pave the way for his acting career. This sets up the tension between his artistic ambitions and his day job.

An opportunity arises for Abhi to act as the lead in a film directed by his friend Rakesh. He resigns from his job to chase this acting chance. The decision strains his personal life and raises expectations about his future in cinema.

Somashekaram kicks him out of the house after learning about his resignation. Rakesh changes his mind and removes Abhi from the film. Abhi faces a harsh setback, deepening his estrangement from home.

Heartbroken, Abhi goes to a roadside dhaba to drink away his sorrows. He gets into a fight with local goons and defeats Loki, brother of the feared gangster Nero. The incident marks a violent turning point in his life.

Abhi learns that Nero is the antagonist in the script written by Rakesh. He realizes that many real-life events around him mirror the script, leading him to believe in Maisamma's will. Feeling trapped, he decides to recreate the script in real life.

Abhi confronts Nero, disguising himself as the script’s hero, SI Sai Saitan Nath, and challenges him. Nero confronts Abhi and burns the script. The burning script confirms to Abhi that his life is becoming inseparable from the fiction.

Abhi makes a deal with Nero to raise him as the protagonist against him, with Nero free to kill him later to sustain his power. This sinister arrangement leads Sai (Abhi’s persona) to curb Nero's crimes, triggering a fierce confrontation.

Likitha, Somasekharam and Usha arrive, suspecting Abhi is on a film shoot. They decide to act in front of the villagers as Likitha's parents, who raised Abhi as an orphan, so the villagers push for their marriage.

Nero pulls IG Vijay Chakravarthy into the issue. Vijay, after hearing the facts, stands by Abhi and adds fuel to the fire, complicating Nero's hold over the situation.

In the final confrontation, Nero stabs Abhi and reveals Abhi's true identity to Vijay in an attempt to save face. Abhi survives and declares that the next confrontation is the film's pre-climax, and Nero's death will end the story. Abhi then kills Nero in front of Vijay, who manages the aftermath and grants Abhi a new identity to pursue Selvamani.

Back in the present timeline, Abhi arrests Selvamani, who expresses admiration for Abhi's performance and relinquishes revenge. Vijay assigns Abhi a new task to capture an international gangster, signaling a fresh chapter in his career.
