Lilo Maertens, a women’s magazine editor and women’s rights activist, is approaching her 80th birthday and facing the prospect of relinquishing her management role. Following eye surgery, she temporarily moves in with her son Ruben, his wife Jutta, and her grandson Finn. Initially unable to work, Lilo's presence proves challenging for the couple as she adjusts to a new chapter in her life. However, her grandson Finn seems to have a special connection with her, managing to reach her in a way others can’t.
