The documentary presents a startling parade of visual and auditory extremes, exploring some of the most bizarre and unsettling facets of human behavior. It takes viewers inside Paris’s Grand Guignol theater, follows a man who inserts long needles into his flesh, shows the castration of reindeer, and includes scenes of lesbians and strippers.
