After the ruthless Mantis Fist school assaults the Eagle’s Claw academy and leaves its master mortally wounded, the dying instructor bypasses his top disciple Chen Tien Chun and appoints the second‑ranked pupil Lee Cheh as the new master. Disillusioned, Chen defects to the Mantis school, where he falls for his new master’s daughter, while his former comrades plot retaliation.
