Willie, a carefree young man living on a mountain, spends his days skiing and working a simple job for an elderly employer. When that man's business is threatened, Willie enters the inaugural Kamikaze Run—a reckless downhill race that rewards the boldest and most daring. Unaware of his own recklessness, he meets Annie, a fellow competitor who sparks his affection, while contending with the devious Spider Bolton, who will stop at nothing to claim victory.
