Each summer, billionaire Tranchant and his wife Eliane welcome a glamorous group of celebrities to their luxurious French mansion. When criminal acts, including car sabotage and threatening letters, disrupt the idyllic vacation, Tranchant seeks the best agent to investigate. The only one available is the arrogant and seemingly incompetent agent Boullin. To solve the mystery and catch the suspect, Boullin must pose as a newly hired butler, turning the entire vacation into a comedic, "Cluedo"-style game.
