Set in 1955, just after Disneyland opens in Anaheim, a toy salesman arrives for a convention and brings his wife along for a trip to the new park. They lodge at the dilapidated Sunset Motel nearby. The wife quickly begins an affair with another guest, prompting the husband to hire a violent criminal to surveil them.
