In 1977, Tony Kiritsis committed a shocking crime when he wired a shotgun to the head of mortgage broker Richard Hall. The bizarre event began with a 911 call lasting 40 minutes, during which Kiritsis’s tone shifted dramatically. He then led Hall through the streets of Indianapolis, accompanied by police and media, before holding him captive for three days. A tense standoff ensued, with SWAT teams, the bomb squad, and the FBI attempting to resolve the situation without endangering Hall. The crisis ultimately concluded with a televised press conference.
