As America re-evaluates its relationship with large dams, a movement to restore rivers gains momentum. Obsolete dams are being removed, allowing salmon to return to their spawning grounds and reviving ecosystems that have been impacted for decades. The film follows this quiet revolution, exploring the history of dam construction and the growing recognition of the importance of free-flowing rivers. It reveals a significant shift in perspective – moving from trying to control nature to understanding our role within it.
