In 1893 Cripple Creek, outlaws are smuggling gold by stealing high‑grade ore, having it smelted and plating it to look like lead. Federal agents Bret and Larry arrive undercover as Texas gunfighters to expose the scheme. Bret discovers the hidden smelter, Larry uncovers the payoff, but a corrupt town marshal grows suspicious, putting their lives in danger.
