Corisco, a feared Brazilian outlaw called the “sword of God,” roams the arid backcountry of Brazil’s Northeast. He rapes 12‑year‑old Dadá, described as the “gift of the sun,” who then becomes his companion and follows him and his gang. Though they claim to fight social injustice, they instead terrorize the small villages they pass through.
