Yalin Sahin returns to the quiet seaside village after his Ponzi empire collapses, only to find himself hunted by the people whose lives he ruined. When Cevdet discovers that Yalin is the man who stole his mother’s savings, he confronts him in an antique shop and – in a desperate struggle – kills Yalin. Panicked, Yalin hides Cevdet’s body in the woods and tries to convince himself that the crime can stay buried.

The local police officer, Selami Tokar, suspects Yalin but has no proof. He warns Yalin that the villagers will not tolerate a murderer, and the community begins to send ominous messages – a dismembered snake labelled “Mister Snake” – to remind him that his past has followed him.

Back at home, Yalin’s wife Beyza discovers the truth about his fraud and, hoping a confession will finally free them, decides to hand the hidden one‑million‑euro stash over to the prosecutor. Yalin reacts with brutal, irrational violence, striking her on the head with a hammer and killing her. The act seals his descent: the only person who ever tried to pull him back is now gone.

Instead of escaping on a boat bound for Greece, Yalin chooses to stay. He offers the stolen money to the villagers as compensation for their losses, and they accept it eagerly. The cash buys their silence and gratitude; soon they bring him fresh fruit, brew him coffee, and treat him as a benefactor. Selami, seeing the villagers content and the bodies unaccounted for, turns a blind eye, allowing the three missing‑person cases to disappear.

The final scenes show men gathering in Yalin’s backyard, curious about his next move. Though Beyza’s ghost may linger in his conscience, Yalin has secured a new refuge by purchasing loyalty with money. He remains in the village, untouched by the law, ready to plot another scheme once the world forgets his first disaster. The ending underscores how, in this ruthless world, wealth can silence opposition and protect even the most monstrous of characters.
