Sylvester Cat takes a job as mouse‑catcher aboard a cargo ship, bringing his eager son Junior along. While on board they discover a crate containing the baby kangaroo Hippety Hopper, shipped from Australia. Mistaking the hopping youngster for a giant mouse, the pair launch into a series of slap‑stick chases and misunderstandings as they try to capture their “prey.”
