Adapted from a Chinese folk tale, the story follows three identical brothers named Liu who live in ancient China. Their mother can tell them apart only by the colored ribbons she ties to each. The eldest can command fire, the second can draw up the sea and return its water, and the youngest understands the language of birds, animals and fish.
