Brothers

The film opens in medias res with street fighting tensions in Mumbai. Sports chairman Peter Braganza reveals his plan to legalize the sport and launch a league called Right 2 Fight (R2F), setting the stage for the rest of the story.

Garson 'Gary' Fernandes is released from prison and Monty picks him up. At home, Gary guards Maria's memory and the belongings she left behind while the family copes with medical and financial pressures; David's daughter has a kidney ailment, and money worries push David toward street fights to survive.

Gary experiences a visceral connection to Maria and begins to hallucinate, attacking a mirror in self-hatred. Monty rushes to help his father, but Gary's attempt to reconnect with David ends badly when David throws them out in a rage.

In a flashback, Monty is revealed to be Gary's illegitimate child, and Maria deeply loved him. On Monty's 15th birthday, Gary returns drunk and mentions his lover Sarah, triggering Maria's anger; she confronts him and is killed when he strikes her, while David pushes Gary away and Monty reaches Maria too late. This tragedy creates the rift between the brothers.

Following Maria's death, the family splits apart as blame and guilt fester between Gary, Monty, and David. The closeness they once shared dissolves into resentment.

David's involvement in street fights comes to light at his school, and principal Shobhit Desai fires him from his teaching position. The setback compounds the family's stress and pushes David further toward fighting as a means to support them.

Suleiman Pasha, an old ally of Gary, reintroduces Monty to the world of fighting. He fixes a match against Mustafa, and Monty is defeated, provoking Gary's anger.

Monty asks for a rematch and defeats Mustafa in brutal fashion, earning selection for R2F by Peter Braganza. The victory is recorded and uploaded to YouTube, turning Monty into an internet sensation.

David decides to become a full-time fighter, encouraged by Jenny. Simultaneously, Monty celebrates his rising fame with a victory at a bar.

Monty defeats Luca, a notorious knockout artist, to become the first R2F finalist. The crowd is stunned as his grit and skill propel him toward the championship.

David carves a path through Ronnie and Tenzin to reach the semi-finals, proving himself as an underdog with a robust game plan. His steady buildup contrasts with Monty's explosive rise.

In the semi-finals, David fights Hammer, who pushes him to the limit by kicking the cage and injuring Gary. David retaliates with a ferocious counterattack and advances to the final.

Media attention explodes when the finals reveal that the finalists are brothers. The revelation adds emotional weight to the championship and intensifies public interest in the R2F.

Guilt overwhelms Gary and he leaves the arena to reflect on his mistakes and the consequences of his past actions. Watching from Suleiman's club, Jenny and others follow the match and await the brothers' fate.

The final escalates into a brutal contest between the brothers. David delivers a choke to Monty, and Monty, moved by their shared history, allows the finish to come. David bursts into tears and apologizes for the past, and the brothers walk backstage reconciled, ending the rift.
