Arthur Bennett’s household is a hive of spies, moles and double agents, yet the true identity of the German spymaster Strendler remains unknown. During World War I, German operative Helene von Lorbeer is sent to London to live with a senior British official’s family. She must work with the butler Valdar, also a spy, to transmit secret war plans back to Germany.

During World War I, Franz Strendler has cost Britain dearly. In desperation, British intelligence dispatches their best agent, Frank Bennett, to Germany to bring the spy in. The mission is high risk and fraught with danger as the two sides play a deadly cat-and-mouse game.
