Three 17‑year‑old girls confront the turbulence of growing up. Xiao‑Bu argues with her friend Angel over a cigarette, while Ah‑Mi sleeps with Xiao‑Bu’s popular boyfriend, who even lets Angel steal a kiss. Their lives are shadowed by a depressive, alcoholic father who watches from the window, and by mishaps like dove droppings ruining a new dress meant for a date. The girls toss a coin to decide whether to keep their friendship, questioning if love is genuine or just a game.
