The story follows Paunvere tailor Jorh Adniel Kiir, whose routine is upended when two young seamstresses, Juuli and Maali, arrive in the village. At first Kiir views them as competition, but he soon forms a close friendship with both women. He eventually marries Juuli, yet his feelings for Maali remain lingering. Simultaneously, the film tracks Kiir’s determined attempts to acquire his own farm, intertwining his professional ambitions with the evolving personal relationships.
