After Paul’s father picks him up from work, drops him off with a prostitute, and hands him $200, he tells Paul not to leave until he becomes a man. Paul later tells Marco, a charismatic hustler he meets in a gritty bar beneath New York’s Port Authority Bus Terminal in the hidden “Area X,” about these bizarre, sexually charged events, and must face his desires, needs, and the steep price each demands.
