Film student Ralf Paeschke must document a group of women at a lamp factory, where their daily lives intertwine. The ensemble includes bold Susie, playful Kerstin, isolated Anita, single Ella, withdrawn Gertrud and the strict forewoman, whose imposing presence looms. When Kerstin is suspected of theft, tensions rise, and Ralf demands answers, making his documentary unexpectedly central to the dispute.
