Adios Amigo

Priyan, a middle-aged man, is sinking deeper into debt as his mother's health deteriorates and she is hospitalized. He tries to gather money from friends and relatives to cover the medical expenses, but most refuse because of his outstanding debts. Only Minimol stays by his mother's side, highlighting his family worries.

Sojan offers to help, but only on the condition that Priyan provides a guarantee cheque. They plan to meet the next morning to exchange the money and the cheque. The arrangement stalls the moment Priyan exits this conversation, foreshadowing the long morning ahead.

Priyan arrives at the bus station to wait for Sojan, but Sojan is delayed by an urgent matter. While waiting, he encounters Prince, a wealthy yet aimless and reckless young man who has a habit of drinking and spending freely. Prince invites Priyan to join him on a spontaneous ride, easing Priyan's worry about the money.

The two travel to a place Prince knows well and arrive at a large clothing store where Prince hopes to meet his ex-girlfriend Hema. Hema, disillusioned by Prince's drinking, refuses to see him, and store staff also dismiss him. Priyan begins to see the consequences of Prince's lifestyle.

That night, Prince and Priyan check into a luxury hotel. Priyan experiences the comforts of the room, while Prince sleeps off his drunken state, underscoring their different worlds and priorities.

The next day, Priyan prevents Prince from drinking and takes him to meet Hema while sober. They discuss a major past accident—Hema losing her leg and Prince being bedridden for months—and the conversation helps them find closure. They part on good terms as Prince resumes his travels.

Grateful for Priyan’s intervention, Prince continues traveling with him, but the pair rapidly deplete their funds. The road ahead looks uncertain as they push forward with limited money.

As funds run out, Prince tries to borrow money from friends and relatives, but his father has instructed everyone not to help him. The lack of support deepens Priyan's financial burden and sense of responsibility.

Prince asks his wife Rini to transfer ₹50,000 to Priyan, but she refuses, citing Prince's absence from home for days. The absence of support from his own family hits Prince hard and adds to Priyan's desperation.

With no immediate help available, the two decide to go their separate ways. Priyan heads back to see his mother, while Prince heads home, both moving toward different futures.

Prince returns with a rented car, offering to drive Priyan to the hospital and to help secure funds. They visit Prince's sister and her husband, the Mayor of Kochi, but they too refuse to assist, underscoring the limits of help from those around them.

With no money left and the driver growing frustrated, Priyan contacts Sojan again. Sojan lends ₹10,000, of which ₹7,000 goes to the driver, leaving them stranded on the road. The loan provides a brief lifeline but not a lasting solution.

They spend the night sleeping by the roadside, and when they wake, they realize they are near Prince's house. They part ways: Priyan boards a bus to see his mother, while Prince heads home, each pursuing their own path.

Just as Priyan departs, he receives word that Rini has transferred ₹50,000 to his account. Overjoyed, Priyan rushes back to Prince for a brief moment of happiness before continuing toward his mother.
