Sawako, an emergency physician, leaves her university hospital job and returns to her father’s home in Ishikawa Prefecture. She then begins working at the Mahoroba Clinic, a local practice that provides home healthcare. There, she collaborates with the clinic director, a nurse, and staff, including a colleague, Seiji, who also left the university hospital. Adapting to the new system, Sawako visits patients in their homes, treating them while also connecting with their lives and families.
