Following the sudden death of her sister, Marcela finds herself adrift and disconnected from her family. Her home feels foreign, and her relationships with her husband and children strain under the weight of her grief. When a young neighbor, Nacho, befriends her daughter, Marcela unexpectedly finds solace in their conversations. She begins to experience encounters with relatives from another realm, blurring the lines between reality and the supernatural, and offering a path toward healing.
