A man called “The Black” is hired for one last job smuggling undocumented migrants into the United States, hoping to quit the trade. His superiors assign the younger smuggler Gavilan to watch him. During the perilous crossing the group turns violent and loses some migrants. “The Black” escapes his former bosses while evading Border Patrol.
