High school soccer player Millie Blake finds her life disrupted when she clashes with openly gay classmate Andy Wellick. As punishment, they's assigned a month of community service at a nursing home. While there, Millie forms unexpected bonds with residents Jade and Pepper, and surprisingly, with Andy herself. Through these relationships, Millie gains a deeper understanding of herself and grows more confident in her identity.
