High school senior Millie Blake, a dedicated soccer player, finds her world shaken by a disagreement with classmate Andy Wellick. As a consequence, the two are assigned a month of community service at a nearby nursing home. Through her interactions with residents Jade and Pepper, and unexpectedly with Andy, Millie begins a journey of self-discovery, gaining confidence and a deeper understanding of herself and those around her.
