Veer’s minor illness rapidly worsens into a disease that shrivels his body and tightens his skull. He is hospitalised as doctors diagnose tetanus-like symptoms that resist cure. Shivangi grows frightened as Veer’s voice and form begin to change.

Kesar Ma, Shivangi’s handmaiden, suspects the illness is the result of black magic. She points to the King’s two wives and past family intrigue as possible causes. The idea of a supernatural judgement casts a shadow over the royal household.

The family travels to Rajasthan to consult an exorcist rumored to confront the demon tormenting Veer. They hope a spiritual intervention might restore Veer’s humanity. The journey marks a turning point toward the unknown.

The exorcist attempts to confront the spirit by entering the spirit realm through a mirror but is too weak and is expelled. He refers the King to the land’s most powerful master, Mewar Baba Jai Singh Gujjar. The plan shifts toward seeking Jai’s help in London.

Years earlier Shivangi was in love with Jai, who faced a legal trap after her uncle’s discovery of their affair. Jai is accused of attempted murder and is sentenced to five years in prison. Shivangi’s testimony becomes the pivotal act that changes their fates.

Shivangi appeals to Jai to help save Veer, pleading despite his resentment. He initially refuses but ultimately agrees to travel to London to confront the demon. The uneasy alliance sets the stage for a dangerous confrontation.

It is revealed that the amulet and the demon were dispatched by Jai himself, and he admits that his aim was Veer’s death. Shivangi’s past betrayal is laid bare, and Jai’s motive becomes central to the conflict. The revelation reframes the entire rescue as a personal vendetta.

Jai decides to stay in London to free Veer, and the spiritual master sends a chastising letter urging him to act with caution. He travels to an abandoned church to obtain a set of Celtic daggers and prepares for a final, decisive strike. The plan now hinges on precise, ritualized power.

Jai enters the spirit realm through the mirror, recovers the amulet, and fights to prevent the demon from overtaking Shivangi. The amulet lashes out, but Jai shatters the mirror to close the portal and traps himself inside the realm. Shivangi eventually burns the amulet, and Veer is freed as Veer comes back to life.

Two weeks after the events, Shivangi and Veer uncover a letter between Jai and his master explaining that Jai offered his own soul so Veer could be freed. Veer places Jai’s photograph on his mantelpiece as a quiet tribute to the man who saved them, completing the circle of forgiveness and memory.
