A wealthy Easterner who has idealized the Old West decides to move to a frontier town. Upon arrival he learns that the town’s rough‑and‑tumble days are long over; it has become a tidy, civilized community. Determined not to lose a potential patron, the locals devise a scheme to remodel the town, staging it to fulfill the newcomer’s Western fantasy.
