Set against the backdrop of the 1990s tech boom, Valery becomes enamored with an identical twin who works as a virtual‑reality scientist. As they spend time together, she discovers she can forge a deeper, more intimate connection with him through the computer screen than she ever does in real life, leaving her to wonder whether the man she loves is truly present or merely a digital echo of himself.
