Re‑imagining the first version of L’Éducation sentimentale, the film transposes the passions of first love, the thrill of desire and the disappointment of a failed 1848‑style revolutionary ideal into the context of the May 68 generation. It follows childhood friends Henri, pragmatic, and Jules, idealistic, as they leave their bucolic village to pursue their baccalaureates and confront the real‑world lessons of adulthood.
