Produced for the U.S. Navy in World War II, the short stars Hank Ketcham’s Mr. Hook, a character created at Walter Lantz Studios, where the only color Mr. Hook cartoon was made. It is propaganda urging support against Japan and promoting war‑bond purchases, and features a loudspeaker grille shaped like a peace sign that shouts at Mr. Hook.
