The film confronts today’s volatile teenage emotions, caught between love and hate, with a blunt, fiery style. To curb drug‑dealing juvenile gangs, two fresh police academy graduates go undercover as high‑school students. Originally released in 1960 as “This Rebel Breed”, it was re‑issued in 1965 as “The Black Rebels” with added dialogue‑free bedroom scenes featuring youths and partial female nudity.
