Frank, a naive country man, drives gang‑shooting victims to the mob’s hideout and joins Erik’s crew. Syndicate boss Big John wants to unite Chicago’s four gangs, but Erik refuses. After an assassination attempt brands Erik as cowardly, Frank hires outsiders to bomb Big John’s casino, targeting Erik’s lover Lucie, while Erik plots revenge.
