Two men, Kostas and Dima, reunite in New York after decades apart. They were deeply in love and served together in the Soviet army in the 1980s, later moving from Russia to Lithuania. As Lithuania gained independence in the 1990s, Kostas went to New York to study, leaving Dima behind. Now a successful author, Kostas has written a book exploring their separation, prompting Dima to visit and challenge some of the details.
