A Soviet spy, Vlassov, defects in France and is flown to the United States, where CIA operative Allan Davies takes over the case. After polygraph tests and interrogation, Vlassov names several Western European agents working for Moscow. Davies moves to arrest them, but the listed operatives begin dying under mysterious circumstances.
