Cosme, a fifteen‑year‑old, becomes infatuated with his new neighbor Merche after giving her a lift and glimpsing her underwear. He fakes illness to skip school, loiters to watch her sunbathe, and seeks any excuse to be near her. His attempts to turn the crush into a relationship are constantly thwarted by his comic family, a meddling maid, and the jealousy of his high‑school girlfriend.
