Based on Adalet Agaoglu’s novel ‘Fikrimin Ince Gulu’, the film follows Bayram (Ilyas Salman), a first‑generation Turkish guest‑worker returning home. With modest savings he buys a second‑hand yellow Mercedes and drives from Germany across western Turkey to his village near Ankara.
